Falls used a vibrant orange background to highlight a Marine, with rifle and bayonet held high. The open space of the poster draws attention to the face of the Marine up to the tip of the bayonet. Falls’ rich black lettering is similar to the style he created for his “Books Wanted” poster. It provides contrast and creates a sense of urgency to the design.
