Know by all his friend[s] "Wooch" a nickname given him by sport-writers when he was a star foot-ball player at Georgia Tech - captain 1915-1916. Commanded machine company of the 7th Division in the last war - fought in two major operations - including Meuse - Argonne.
Before Dec 7th it was his duty to know entire situation regarding the foreign element in Hawaii. Particularly to counter moves made by the Japanese on the islands. Altho [sic], sabatage [sic] and a stab in the back by the large Japanese population was expected and feared - it did not materialize -there were not any proven attempts at sabatage [sic]. Principle[sic] hobbies - slight-of-hand majic [sic] and golf. Plays golf in the low 70's. Is one of the topmost amateur majicians [sic] and can entertain his friends for unlimited periods with his astonishing repetoir [sic] of tricks. From Atlanta George [sic] born 1895.
