Resting on the debris of blown-up bunkers during the Bosnian War, these engineers are taking a break in the still hot and humid air. It is about 6 kilometers to get to where they are going and they are carrying about 150 pounds of explosives between them, and though they won’t use it all today, they will blow up 17 bunkers before walking out to the pick-up point about 3 kilometers away. The purpose of this drill is to make these positions useless and discourage any thought to reoccupy them, which could make them a threat to the US Army.
