Text below the title of the print reads "In the harbor of Fayol (Azores) Oct. 26th, 1814. Repulsing the attack of 14 boats containing 400 men from the British ships Plantagenet 74' - Rota 44, and Carnation 18 guns. The General Armstrong was 246 tons burthen Carried 6 nine pounders and a long Tom (42 pounder,) amid ships and a crew of 90 men. The British loss was 120 killed and 130 wounded - Americans lost 2 killed and 7 wounded."
